3 Steps to Effective Networking

Any utterance of the term “networking” conjures up an image of corny salesmen in cheap suits at an after-work mixer trying to hook new clients – for me at least. Buy into that imagery and you will deny yourself and your business the opportunity to establish and grow a web, or network if you may, of mutually beneficial relationships.

The proper definition for networking is, “the cultivation of productive relationships for business or employment”, and it doesn’t take the conversation skills of a late night talk show host to do it effectively.
