Blackberry app measures intensity of your business relationships

Blackberry users have yet another reason to be attached to their cell phones.

Socialibrium, a New Jersey-based startup, has released an application for Blackberry smart phones called Scale, which measures the intensity of your relationships based on how often you interact with your contacts.

Your professional and personal contacts are displayed on a color-coded dashboard which shows a “heat map” of sorts illustrating the level of connectivity with each contact. That way you can easily identify the relationships that need attention just by viewing the dashboard. Another useful feature of Scale is the consolidation of your communications history with a particular contact into a single view. So all your calls, emails and text messages with any one person are easily tracked.

By all accounts, Scale will be a useful tool for freelancers and anyone whose career is built on their network.
