Study suggests that MBA holders make better CEOs
It seems really convenient that a school with an MBA programme would conduct a study which ultimately suggests that MBA-holders make for better leaders. *glare*
A study of CEO performance conducted by the Harvard Business Review found that, all other things equal, MBA CEOs performed slightly better than their non-MBA counterparts. Go figure.
This comes after MBA programmes came under fire in the past year for their “role in the ethical and strategic lapses” that largely caused the current economic crisis. So the findings of this study spell vindication for MBA programmes.
